Highlights
Visualized 10 years of global ocean temperature data using D3.js and WebGL. Each pixel represents one square kilometer of ocean surface. The warming patterns are striking — especially in the Arctic. Interactive version live on my site.
Pro tip for data visualization: Start with pen and paper. Before opening any tool, sketch 3-5 different ways to show your data. You'll often find the best approach isn't the first one you think of. Tools I use daily: Observable, D3, Figma, Python/Matplotlib
Just published my first Observable notebook! It visualizes real-time earthquake data from the USGS API. 10,000+ quakes in the last 30 days, plotted on a 3D globe with magnitude-based sizing. Pretty sobering.
